Ever wonder what Judaism has to say about parenting? Or how to find spirituality while caregiving? Or how to apply Jewish values and holiness to the mundane acts of parenthood? Rabbi Elyssa Cherney explores these questions and more through the lens of ancient, modern and contemporary Jewish thinkers. Using a Reconstructionist Jewish perspective, we will explore ideas from Mussar, mindfulness and spirituality along with popular parenting techniques to learn how Judaism can act as a guide for raising the next generation. This course is open to all those interested in navigating traditions and rituals in their home and exploring where Judaism may fit into their lives and their roles as parents.
