Nina Korican joined Reconstructing Judaism in 2022 and is Assistant Director for Thriving Communities with a focus on Programming and Executive Director/Administrator support.

Previously, Nina served as Executive Director of Temple Beth Israel, a Reconstructionist affiliate in Eugene, Oregon for almost 20 years. During that time, she worked with the clergy, lay leaders, and staff to complete a Capital Campaign, build a building, transition rabbis, navigate the COVID pandemic, and steer the day-to-day workings of a 390-member, full-service Center for Jewish Life.

Nina works remotely from her home in Eugene where she lives with her husband, Avraham Freinquel.
