Every gift to Reconstructionist Rabbinical College scholarships was matched dollar-for-dollar—up to $150,000, thanks to Seth and Joan Rosen.
Your $1 became $2. Your $1,800 became $3,600. Together, we raised over $300,000 to reduce financial barriers for rabbinical students.
That’s enough to support one year of scholarships for our students. We need your help to keep that support going!
Why This Matters
Our students are answering a sacred call.
They will be the rabbis who comfort, teach, and inspire in your synagogues, classrooms, and communities.
For more than 50 years, the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College has trained bold, compassionate leaders who guide congregations, teach Torah, advocate for justice, and serve communities in sacred moments of life.
But too many aspiring rabbis take on overwhelming debt to pursue this path. Your gift would allow them to focus on study and service, not tuition bills.

Seth and Joan Rosen are leading by example.
As Seth Rosen concluded his 8-year term as Chair of the Reconstructing Judaism Board, he and Joan made a landmark $150,000 commitment to rabbinical education. Their matching gift doubled every dollar you gave, resulting in more than $300,000 for rabbinic scholarships.
We may have reached our match goal, but we hope you’ll make the RRC scholarship fund a part of your regular, annual, giving. The financial burden our students carry is too great, and we all need to do our part to help raise up our next generation of Reconstructionist leaders.
