How do we give back to this place that means so much to us?
Facilitated by Rabbi Isaac Saposnik, Executive Director of Camp Havaya and Havaya Arts
For post-college-age Camp JRF/Camp Havaya alumni
Tuesdays, 8:00 pm-9:00 pm EST—March 13, April 17, and May 15
Reconnect with other Camp alumni as we explore the values and experiences that drive us and how we, as individuals and as a group, can give back to this place that means so much to us. Over the course of three sessions, we’ll share stories and memories from the past 16 summers, learn about the exciting work happening right now, and dream together about the future. We’ll discuss philanthropy and what it means to participate, even if you don’t have much to give. And we’ll put our values into action as, together, we determine where to direct Alumni Campaign funds for this summer. As part of the giving circle, all network participants will be asked to make a financial contribution to the Camp Havaya Alumni Campaign. The amount doesn’t matter – but your participation certainly does!
Rabbi Isaac Saposnik is executive director of Camp Havaya and Havaya Arts. A lifelong Reconstructionist (and summer camper!), he is a graduate of Tufts University, the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, and the Foundation for Jewish Camp’s Executive Leadership Institute.
