Center for Jewish Ethics

People today face a wide range of ethical challenges in the workplace, in healthcare, within families and relationships, in communal life, and in the public square. The Center for Jewish Ethics draws on Jewish texts, experience, and tradition to help people and communities address these challenges.

The Center promotes engaged scholarship and provides ethical leadership through teaching and trainings, community collaborations, publications, conferences and consultations. The Center has led the way in developing new approaches to Jewish ethics. We offer practical guidance rooted in Jewish values and texts to Jewish communities and to diverse organizations, leaders and individuals.

Rabbi Mira Beth Wasserman, Ph.D., became director of the center in fall 2017.
