Key Israel Resolutions and Reports: The Reconstructionist Movement, Israel and Zionism
There have been several different central organizations of the Reconstructionist movement, some representing associations of Reconstructionist rabbis or congregations, and more recently, the organization known as Reconstructing Judaism, which combines the rabbinical seminary (RRC) with the non-profit association of congregations affiliated with the movement. What follows is a chronological listing of key resolutions and reports issued by these organizations dating back to 1980.. Over the course of the several decades represented below, the progressive Zionist platform of our movement emerged through the aggregation of these resolutions and through many public statements, resources, programs and partnerships that Reconstructionist organizations have developed on the basis of this platform.
