Rabbi Allyson Zacharoff

Rabbi Allyson Zacharoff lives a life devoted to interreligious dialogue. She has a deep background in the field, having studied at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas and the Pontifical Gregorian University, both in Rome, as a Russell Berrie Fellow in Interreligious Studies; at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem as a Conflict Resolution Fellow; and at Hartford International University for Religion and Peace in Connecticut as an International Peacemaking Program Fellow, where she focused her learning on Islam and the Qur’an. Rabbi Zacharoff regularly undertakes multifaith grant projects, serves as a Jewish representative on several national interfaith dialogues, often presents at international interreligious gatherings, and writes about her interfaith life on her blog, Of Christmas and Kreplach. She graduated from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in Wyncote, Pennsylvania and is the Rabbi of Congregation Beth Hatikvah in Summit, New Jersey, U.S.A.
