Nafshenu

Nafshenu is an independent, energetic, congregation of about 20 households in the Cherry Hill, New Jersey area with a closely-knit and strong team of lay leaders. They are currently served by Student Rabbi David Goodman (RRC ’22). Authenticity and joy animate this very multi-generational congregation, as well as an eagerness to grow. From their Core Values statement: “…Nafshenu is different than the traditional model of Jewish life; it is the kind of community that recognizes the power that Judaism has to transform our lives-it is in the uncomfortable moments of life when we grow the most. We are a community of seekers: each one of us is on our own journey bringing our own gifts and our own sacred stories. This is what makes our community strong.” Nafshenu uses a non-traditional membership model that you can explore by visiting
