Jonathan Markowitz recounts his narrow escape from the World Trade Center on 9/11, and reflects on God, Judaism and humanity in light of his experience.
Jonathan Markowitz is a member of Reconstructing Judaism’s Board of Governors and treasurer of Jewish Reconstructionist Congregation, in Evanston, Ill. He has had a long career in commodity and equity trading. Markowitz received a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, and graduated from Tulane University Law School cum laude.
