DIY Tikkun Leil Shavuot

The 16th century kabbalists of Safed created the custom of the all-night study session during the evening prior to Shavuot. This custom, known as Tikkun Leil Shavuot, is celebrated in many synagogues with study sessions offered from dusk till dawn.
