Passover and Bringing Our Freedom to Life

This Passover, amidst so much pain, suffering and challenge, may we strive to know interconnection and freedom and may we work to increase it for all people.

Both the Torah and Haggadah teach us that Passover is, above all, about freedom.

In our day, many folks think that freedom means unconstrained personal expression. What is freedom, really? I explore this topic in this Passover teaching. I invite you to watch and be part of this ever-evolving conversation about the nature of freedom.

A sneak preview: I believe Jewish teaching stresses that freedom is incomplete without interconnection and interdependence. Passover invites us to bring our freedom to life by enacting our highest values and our deepest commitments in our lives and in our communities.

May we know interconnection and freedom and may we work to increase it for all people.
